Resident Evil: Death Island Is On The Way, Launches On July 25

After a few weeks of waiting, Sony Pictures has finally announced that Resident Evil: Death Island, the new CGI film in the franchise, arrives on July 25th. The feature film will be available with support for 4K resolution and will be distributed in physical and digital format.

It is not confirmed if the physical media will be sold in Brazil, so, at the moment, the announcement of DVDs and Blu-Ray are limited only to North American territory.

In addition to including the film, copies will offer bonus content such as mocap, design and voiceover clips, and snippets about Jill.

Additionally, the news revealed the cover art for Resident Evil: Death Island. In addition to presenting a licker as a threat, the image shows the iconic squad formed by Jill Valentine, Chris and Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy and Rebecca Chambers.


Resident Evil: Death Island is the sequel to Vendetta and has Eiichiro Hasumi as director.
