Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Revealed To Arrive In October 20 On PS5
Insomniac made a surprise appearance at Summer Game Fest and brought news about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The game will arrive on October 20th and the villains promise to make quite an impact.
Insomniac also promised to bring original stories about Venom (who is not Eddie) and Kraven.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Pre-Order Starts June 16
Sony also took the opportunity to reveal that pre-orders for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will begin on June 16th. In addition, Insomniac brought unpublished details about the history of the title:
- Eddie Brock is not Venom
- Kraven and the Lizard, alongside Venom, will not be the only villains in the plot.
In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, players will experience Marvel’s New York as Peter Parker and Miles Morales. As you saw at the PlayStation Showcase last month – the game’s main storyline will have you controlling the two Spider-Men at different points in the campaign.
In the open world, you’ll be able to almost instantly switch between them as you explore Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. Both Spider-Men have stories and missions in the world unique to each of them.
