Nothing Phone 2 To Be Released Next July, With Extremely Powerful Design And Performance

Nothing Phone 1 launched last year has attracted the attention of the Android user community around the world with its unique design and features.

This special smartphone is preparing to launch the next version of Nothing Phone 2 with many valuable upgrades, especially the appearance similar to Apple’s iPhone Pro models.

The launch event for Nothing Phone 2 will take place on July 11, 2023. Nothing has officially confirmed the launch date, and the company announced that Nothing Phone 2 will receive three years of software support plus one year of security updates.

The design of Nothing Phone 1 is one of the valuable points with a transparent back design and beautiful LED lights that flash to the music. Based on the leaked video, it looks like the Nothing Phone 2 will have a similar transparent back design, along with some more rounded edges.

The Phone 2 also has a new 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display (compared to the Phone 1)’s 6.5-inch display as well as a 4,700 mAh battery (up from 4,500 mAh). Nothing Phone 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

As the co-founder of OnePlus, Carl Pei is well versed in the art of creating a “flagship-killer” that can be as good as the $1,000 Apple and Samsung flagships for half the price.

However, with Nothing Phone 1, Pei shifted focus from creating a smartphone with top specifications to creating a smartphone with a top design.

The tradition of focusing on design is carried over to the Nothing Phone 2. While on the surface it may seem like the Nothing Phone 2 will be more like a Nothing Phone 1S, the biggest design change with the Nothing Phone 2 seems to be the the presence of a curved bezel, reminiscent of the iPhone 11, while the screen on the front seems to have 2.5D curves around.
