Mercedes-AMG SL43 With The Same Technology As F1 Released

Recently, according to reports, Mercedes-AMG officially released the official pictures of the AMG SL43. The new car is the entry-level model of the AMG SL-class roadster, and the engine has also been replaced from the V8 engine of other SL models.

It has a 2.0T four-cylinder engine, but as an AMG model, its engine uses some of the technology of F1 racing cars, so it still has strong power.

However, Mercedes-Benz has not officially announced the price and specific launch date of the car, but the relevant content may be announced soon.

In terms of appearance, the overall style of the AMG SL43 has not changed much compared to other SL models, and it still adopts the shape of a soft-top convertible sports car.

However, the style of the air vents on the lower part of the front face has been adjusted somewhat, and the shape of the air intakes on both sides has also been slightly adjusted.

From the rear, the four-outlet tail row of the car has also changed from the rectangular style on other SL models to a cylindrical shape, and the relevant “SL43” logo has been added to the rear.

The new car is also equipped with 19-inch tires, and two sizes of 20- and 21-inch wheels are available.

AMG SL43 Configuration:

In terms of configuration, the car still retains the cool SL features common on the SL55 and SL63 models. This includes rear steering, multiple driving modes, the AMG Dynamic Plus package, and the car also features a large digital screen and the latest MBUX system built in.

AMG SL43 Interior:

In terms of power, the AMG SL43 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine codenamed M139.

The engine uses the electric exhaust turbocharger technology from the F1 racing car, with a maximum power of 381 horsepower (284 kilowatts) and a peak torque of 480 Nm, and it only takes 4.9 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100. 9-speed MCT automatic transmission.
